Policía Metropolitana: Elijen nuevo lugar para la primera comisaría.

Finalmente la primera comisaría de la Policía Metropolitana, en la Comuna número 12, se instalará sobre un gran baldío en Saavedra que formaba parte de la traza de la ex AU3, la autopista que se proyectó durante el gobierno militar, que nunca se construyó, y cuyas manzanas fueron expropiadas por Osvaldo Cacciatore (Por entonces Intendente de Facto de la Ciudad).

Un fallo adverso de la Justicia, y la resistencia de vecinos, la Defensoría del Pueblo de la Ciudad y de algunos partidos opositores, torcieron la decisión del Ministerio de Justicia y Seguridad: no será el Parque Sarmiento en donde se instalará la comisaría, sino a unas siete cuadras de allí, en la manzana de Ramallo, Holmberg, Correa y Donado.

“El Precinto” (como van a llamar a las comisarías, para diferenciarlas de las de la Federal) tendrían que comenzar a funcionar en el mes de Julio, su construcción estaría comenzando en los próximos días.

El “Precinto” estará destinado a cubrir la actuación de la Policía Porteña en los barrios que integran la Comuna 12, que son Villa Pueyrredón, Villa Urquiza, Coghlan y Saavedra.

Eugenio Burzaco, jefe de la Metropolitana, frente a un grupo de vecinos de la zona dijo “Decidimos no apelar el fallo de la Justicia porque hubiese sido una decisión que nos iba a demandar mucho tiempo de trámites. Por eso elegimos otro lugar para poder cumplir con lo prometido».

Ante la pregunta de Revista “Mi Barrio” de cómo se financiaría la construcción de dicha Comisaría, respondió “Se costeará con la venta de Terrenos de la Ex AU3, que son propiedad de la Ciudad”, y añadió “La construcción del “Precinto” tiene un presupuesto de $ 8 Millones”.

La construcción de la segunda comisaría, se realizará en el Barrio de Chacarita, (dicho proyecto también se debate en la Justicia en lo Contencioso Administrativo). La 3º Comisaría se haría en el sur porteño.

I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said «You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.» She placed the shell to her ear and screamed.
